A huge congratulations to this awesome lady, Kailey Salter!! Kailey soloed this morning at KRTS, runway 26, in N670CS. Kailey is an incredible multitasker, putting the same dedicated level of focus to everything she has going on in her busy life. She is a full-time student, full-time employed, marathon/Spartan runner, and manages to find time to fly a couple times a week to work toward her goal of a career in the sky. Kailey came back all smiles from her flight after enjoying a few laps without her instructor, Stefan Arnone, in the seat next to her. A huge accomplishment for her and Stefan!! Now comes a whole lot of fun. Be the pilot of your dreams!
Congratulations to Ben Abel who flew his memorable solo flight today in N328ME, KRTS, Runway 8. Ben flew his first few solo patterns as his proud instructor Stefan Arnone watched from the ground. Ben also has aviation in his blood. He is working hard toward a career in aviation with the support of his family, including his Dad, a Captain with United. Ben is an avid snowboarder and instructor at Northstar (once the snow comes). He squeaks in flying between his work tasks and driving in from Incline. Congratulations to both Ben and Stefan on this awesome accomplishment!! It won’t be long and you will have your private pilot certificate!

A huge congratulations as well to his instructor Emmett Castellan!! Connell is taking a much needed break and then will be back to earn his instrument then commercial. Great job Connell!! We look forward to flying with you as you continue on this adventure!
Another Monday solo! Congratulations to Mason Morrison who soloed today at KRTS, runway 8 in N2291C!! Mason is well on his way to becoming a third generation aviator. His Grandfather flew P-38’s in WWII and his Dad is a Captain for American Airlines. You can definitely say it is in the blood. His family is a constant inspiration for him and his proud Dad happened to be around today to watch his son experience solo flight for the first time. When Mason isn’t flying, he is going to school and setting himself up for a career in aviation. Congratulations to his instructor Stefan Arnone as well! This was a huge day for both Mason and Stefan! We are so excited for you both and glad we can be a part of your journey. Keep up the great work!!
Congratulations to Phoebe Burdin who soloed today at KRTS, runway 26 in N752DW. Phoebe moved to the states from Paris just a couple weeks ago and started flying probably sooner than she unpacked her bags. She is so determined to get her license and has been flying with Emmett Castellan almost everyday to reach this point. We are so excited for Phoebe and Emmett and this extremely memorable accomplishment!! With her focus, Phoebe will have her private pilot certificate in no time!
